Packer-Locker.com (& promo code!)

So reader Alex commented on my blog to let me know about this site, Packer-Locker, and let me just say I am SO glad they did.

After the comment, I looked up the site, and discovered it has a Live Chat option you can use to instantly ask any questions you have. Other sites I've visited have had great turnaround time on responding to emails (ToolShed is often same day, Early2Bed next day) but this was the first time I'd encountered a chat. I used it to asked a few questions and it turned into an impromptu interview with Packer-Locker's co-owner and runner, Anthony! Anthony was super helpful & he runs the entire site & service with the help of his partner (she does more behind-the-scenes stuff, like packaging)

Pictured: Anthony, probably

First what I observed - the site is pretty well organized, with an area just for the budget-minded (they will price match on almost anything in the Budget section!). A lot of the items are sold for about the same price as other stores, though they have a few services that help make them more affordable I'll talk about in a minute.

They do have a few cheaper items that I want to point out - the Mr. Limpy packer can be had for as cheap as $9! (and they offer a unique in-house painting service at an incredibly low cost that brings it to the price of the Classic Packy I referenced in the previous packing post). I haven't used the Limpy personally, but the reviews are solid - as are the reviews for their paint jobs. They also have a budget packer for $5, that doesn't look like much (it's bright orange) but good if you want a cheap packer that will give you more of a penis-shaped bulge.

They have a TON of sales going on all the time, make sure to check out that tab on their site. Right now they're offering a free harness with purchases!

They've also got a variety of other products super cheap, including STPs starting from $25, harnesses starting at $7, and packing underwear starting at $5 (thanks Alex for this info!).

Now we'll get into my impromptu interview with Anthony, and some of the great services Packer-Locker offers.

Like I mentioned before, while they do have some great budget products, a lot of the products are ones you find on other sites for the same/similar prices. But Packer-Locker has some great, unique programs.

The first is PackerPoints. You earn them by buying products on the site, signing up with an account, or making donations to the assistance programs (more on that soon). These points can then be redeemed to get discounts on future purchases.

The second is their Layaway Program. This is an awesome program for trans individuals who need anything, no matter how cheap, but can't afford it at the moment - and even better for the big-ticket items. How it works is you put 15% down on a product. Once they've received this payment, they send you a payment plan "receipt". After that you make 9 payments of 10% cost, and a final payment that's 5%. Payments can be weekly, biweekly, or monthly, and you can contact them if you're going to have trouble with an upcoming payment so they can work with you. This Layaway includes the cost of shipping, so that won't be an extra expense after you've paid up.

Me when I heard about these programs

Awesome, right? This is definitely an amazing tool for FtMs on a budget.

But wait, there's more!

Maybe, despite these programs, a packer or a binder is still out of reach. That's okay! Packer-Locker offers both Packer & Binder Assistance Programs on their site. Simply to to their page, go to the "Transition Assitance" tab, and you'll find what you need there. You email them your needs, and they'll do their best to match you with the next available packer or binder that suits those. You'll only have to cover shipping (which they work to keep as low as possible) and they even run these assitance programs internationally! There are no technical restrictions other than age - people who apply need to be 18 or up (since they sell packers). I'm not saying don't mention if your younger, but I might be saying don't mention if you're younger ;)

If you're of a little more means, you can also donate to these programs by going to the same tab, which will earn you PackerPoints to spend on the site. Win-win!

And even more!

Anthony wanted me to point out a few things in particular.

The Zeus Prosthetic is the first in-house packer made by Packer-Locker! It's 3.5" of medical-grade soft silicone, round balls, veins, curved to fit an FtM body, & even has a tab for use with adhesive if that's how you wear your packers!

It's $40, which might be a bit much for some purveyors of this site, but seems to be excellent quality. It also comes predusted, though it won't need regular dusting like many CyberSkin products.

Packer-Locker are very proud of their new packer & at this point I'd probably trust them with my first born, so I trust them to make a packer right.

Phi, Omega, & FreeToM Harnesses are harnesses all made in-house by Packer-Locker. The picture is of the FreeToM harness, honestly the one I'm most pumped about, because I'm hoping to get a FreeToM at some point & it seems like it'll work great.

All 3 are super cheap & the variety helps you find something that will help your prosthetic hang how you want it to. You can contact them to let them know if you'd like something specific done with it - they'll do their best to honor all requests - I'll probably see if I can get them to embroider something awesome on it.

And finally - the thing most of you probably came to this post for - the promo code

Drumroll, please

Anthony was kind enough to give me a promo code just for the readers of this site! When shopping, you can use the code BTG2015, which will give you 10% off your purchase AND two times the PackerPoints.

I love Packer-Locker. I'm so excited about the programs they have & the services they offer. I still recommend shopping at a variety of sites (and E2B & ToolShed are probably 2 of your best bets for sex toys out there) to always make sure you get the best deal, but Packer-Locker is absolutely one to add to the list. I look forward to shopping there & hopefully working with them more in the future!

Next posts up: Natural T (& E), a brief housekeeping/general update, and a binder giveaway!
